園芸業界を大きく変えた伝説のブランド、invisible inkとTOKYによるコラボレーションモデルの植木鉢。
元々「Rock」というシリーズ名で展開されていたモデル郡の中でも、最も人気のあったカラーリングの鉢です。
このモデルは現在より8年ほど前の2015年に数個だけ納品されたもので、このGrungeシリーズは青錆を施した"Blue rust"と赤錆を施した"Red rust"の2色展開されていました。
4種類の黒い顔料や釉薬を複数回叩き重ね、その後は極秘のGrunge powderをまぶして焼成する。焼き上がったら砥石で丹念に磨き込むという途方もなく手間のかかった鉢です。
このRock Grunge Classic Potは、シリーズを通して入れられるナイフによるカッティングが深く刻まれた後期の作品となっています。
2015年当時はもう少し色が薄い部分が多く"青"の印象が強くでていましたが、こちらは少し落ち着いた色合いとなっています。

Among the series originally launched under the name "Rock," this pot was the most popular due to its color scheme.
This model was delivered in limited quantities around eight years ago in 2015. The Grunge series featured two colors: "Blue rust," with a blue rust finish, and "Red rust," with a red rust finish.
The pot undergoes an incredibly labor-intensive process involving multiple layers of four types of black pigments and glaze, followed by the application of a secret Grunge powder before firing. Once fired, it is meticulously polished with a whetstone.
The Rock Grunge Basic Pot represents the later pieces in the series, featuring deeply etched knife cuts throughout.
In 2015, the pots tended to have lighter areas with a stronger "blue" impression, whereas this one has a slightly more subdued hue.
A stainless steel name tag with a laser-engraved mark, crafted by Japanese artisans, accompanies this authentic masterpiece.
